Chiara Pes

Chiara Pes was born on August 8, 2000, in Sassari, Italy. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering in 2022 from the University of Sassari, where she developed a mixed reality platform for the simultaneous measurement of gait and gaze, aiming to improve gait analysis accuracy for clinical applications.

She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Turin, under the supervision of Professor Alberto Arezzo, at the Department of Excellence in Surgical Sciences at the University of Turin. Her thesis at MITIC Lab focuses on integrating augmented reality for surgical planning in thoracic surgery.
